Laying the Groundwork for the Future

Capital Campaign Updates

2025 marked a year of meaningful progress and thoughtful planning for our new Programs and Assistance Hub. The project focuses on creating a comprehensive campus through the purchase and renovation of 111 Lynn Drive, directly across from our existing building. This will significantly expand Caring & Sharing’s capacity to provide crisis relief services and essential resources. The current building will continue to operate as the Thrift Store, with enhanced shopping areas and improved donation and sorting spaces designed to create a better experience for donors and shoppers while increasing revenue to support our mission.

  • Throughout the year, Caring & Sharing continued to move the project forward by connecting with dedicated supporters and volunteers to share the vision, gather feedback, and build support and momentum.

  • Through these intentional meetings and thoughtful connections, we began making meaningful progress toward our goal to help us bring this project to life.

  • In 2025 Caring & Sharing also formed a dedicated Steering Committee to help lead the next phase of this project, 30 Years of Impact: A Journey of Giving, Gratitude, and Growth.

We are deeply grateful to the many long-time supporters who have already shown their belief in this vision through early support. If you or someone you know would like to learn more about this project, we invite you to reach out and be part of this meaningful next chapter.

DISCUSSION GUIDE

Caring & Sharing of South Walton's Capital Campaign Discussion Guide serves as a thoughtful resource to help communicate the vision, purpose, and impact of the organization’s growth efforts. Designed to support meaningful conversations with community members, donors, and partners, the guide outlines the campaign’s goals, highlights the growing need for food assistance and support services, and shares how collective generosity can strengthen the future of local families in need.
